朱盈樺，英國西敏寺大學媒體藝術教育研究中心Practice-Based博士，現為國立臺北教育大學文化創意產業經營學系副教授，研究興趣為視覺文化、影像美學、攝影理論與當代藝術創作。早期曾於墨爾本RMIT、紐約Residency Unlimited、澳門大學、東京Tokyo Wonder Site等地進行駐地創作與展覽，後轉向以藝術實踐為方法的研究取徑。近期關注影像在演算法條件下的轉換，以開箱、自拍、生成式人工智慧、螢幕截圖、攝影書等類型作為觀察對象，透過藝術家作品來理解與拆解視覺文化的運作。研究論文見photographies、《藝術學研究》、《藝術評論》、《文化研究》等，評論文章見《典藏今藝術》、《藝術觀點ACT》。曾任《現代美術學報》編輯委員與專題主編、自出版《閱讀筆記：Book Phenomenon》，並參與編輯Routledge出版之The Routledge Companion to Global Photographies攝影書專章。

 

Chu Yin-hua completed her Practice-Based Ph.D. at the Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media (CREAM), University of Westminster. She is Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural and Creative Industries Management at National Taipei University of Education. Her research interests include visual culture, image aesthetics, photography theory, and contemporary art practice. She has undertaken artist residencies and exhibitions at RMIT University in Melbourne, Residency Unlimited in New York, University of Macau, and Tokyo Wonder Site, while developing a research approach grounded in practice-based methodology that bridges artistic practice and academic inquiry. Her recent research explores the transformation of images under algorithmic conditions, focusing on unboxing, selfies, generative AI, screenshots, and photobooks as case studies, analysing how visual culture operates through artists’ works. Her research has been published in photographies, Journal of Art Studies, Arts Review, and Router: A Journal of Cultural Studies, with critical writing appearing in ARTouch and ACT. She has served on the editorial board and as guest editor for the Journal of Taipei Fine Arts Museum. She self-published Book Phenomenon, and co-edited the photobook chapter in Routledge’s The Routledge Companion to Global Photographies.
